Acceptance

By creating a DocNote account or using the DocNote mobile app, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use DocNote.

Purpose Of DocNote

DocNote provides clinic workflow tools for doctors, including patient records, medical notes, appointments, home visits, co-worker access, subscriptions, and backups. DocNote is not a diagnostic, emergency, prescribing, or medical device service.

Doctor Responsibilities

Doctors using DocNote are responsible for:

• Maintaining accurate clinic and patient records.
• Obtaining any required patient consent before storing or backing up patient data.
• Protecting device access, biometric unlock, passwords, and Google account access.
• Managing co-worker access and permissions.
• Complying with laws, regulations, and professional obligations applicable to their practice.

Subscriptions And Access

Paid or trial subscriptions control write access to DocNote features. When a subscription expires, the mobile app may keep existing records readable while create, edit, and upload actions are restricted until renewal.

Backups

Doctors are responsible for creating, protecting, and restoring their backups. Google Drive and local backups are controlled by the doctor. DocNote is not responsible for loss caused by deleted backups, unavailable Google accounts, damaged local storage, forgotten credentials, or device loss.

Acceptable Use

You must not use DocNote to:

• Violate applicable law or patient privacy obligations.
• Access another user's account or device without authorization.
• Attempt to tamper with subscriptions, offline licenses, payment records, or app security controls.
• Upload unlawful, harmful, or abusive content.

Service Changes

We may update DocNote features, pricing, security behavior, or subscription rules from time to time. Continued use after updates means you accept the updated service behavior.

Limitation Of Liability

DocNote is provided as a clinic workflow and record-keeping tool. To the maximum extent permitted by law, DocNote is not liable for clinical decisions, treatment outcomes, data entered incorrectly by users, device loss, backup loss, third-party service outages, or unauthorized access caused by compromised user devices or accounts.
